This is my first tabbed song and its by MGMT.im not sure if its 100% correct but i can
you it sounds good.
As well as tabs for the intro there is lyrics and chords which you may find usefull. Enjoi.

It sound better with a capo, on the 2nd to 5th fret, but its up to you if it
suits your voice good luck anyways. It CAN be played without a capo though.

Verse 1.
EM7 CADD9
You were a child,
          G G5/F#

crawling on your knees sort of.
EM7 CADD9
Making momma so proud,
G G5/F#

but you voice is too loud.
EM7 CADD9 G G5/F#

............ we liked to watch you laughing,
EM7 CADD9
you picked the insects off plants,
G G5/F#

it's time to think of consequenses.

Chorus
EM7
Control yourself,
CADD9 G G5/F#

And take what you need from them.
EM7 CADD9 G G5/F#

A family of trees wanted, to be haunted.
( Repeat )

Verse 2.
EM7 CADD9
The water is warm,
G G5/F#

but it's sending me shivers.
EM7 CADD9
A baby is born,
G G5/F#

Crying out for attention.
EM7 CADD9
The memmories fade,
G G5/F#

like looking though a fogged mirror.
EM7 (MUTED) CADD9 (MUTED)
Decisions to decisions are made and not bought,
G (MUTED) (AND THEN STOP PLAYING)
and i thought, it wouldnt hurt a lot.

But I guess not.

Chorus:
Controll yourself,
And take what you need from them.
A family of trees wanted, to be haunted.
( Repeat but stop at 'Trees' and hold the note, check for timing. )

Bridge:
This part of the song has no words but is quite hard. also the chords are diiferent to
other versions. this goes on for a wile but can be shortened a bit.
It goes:
                                Quickly Lighter
CADD9, D , EM7 , G5/F# , G , , C CADD9 , D , CADD9 , G , G, G, G

Chorus:
Controll yourself,
And take what you need from them.
A family of trees wanted, to be haunted.

( repeat X4 but on the last chorus where it says Treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees...
that
basicly finishes the song.)

If there are any questions ask at the email at the top of the page thanks for looking.

You were a child
Crawling on your knees toward him
Making momma so proud
But your voice is too loud
We like to watch you laughing
Picking insects off of plants
No time to think of consequences

[Chorus: x2]
Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

The water is warm
But it's sending me shivers
A baby is born
Crying out for attention
Memories fade
Like looking through a fogged mirror
Decisions too
Decisions are made
Decisions are made and not bought
But I thought this wouldn't hurt a lot
I guess not

[Chorus: x6]
